Major Michael Donnelly Post 10251 is proud to be the home of Military Order of the Cooties, Pup Tent 14. US Air Force Maj. Michael W. Donnelly a South Windsor resident was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as motor neurone disease (MND), and Lou Gehrig's disease while on active duty during the Desert Storm Gulf War. Maj. Donnelly successfully fought the VA to get ALS recognized as presumptively caused by exposure to chemicals and toxic fumes.
